Finance Friday: New Year’s Resolutions
Ahh New Year’s is here again…. Another time we make plans and resolve to achieve more and better than last year, right?
Well, this year one of our New Year’s resolutions is to get a grip on our finances. Yes, we all say that every year, but this year will be different… We are going to Tune In 2 Our Finances!
Care to join us on this adventure??
In January we are going to take a hard look at where we are financially and where we would like to be. We want to spend less so we can save more and give more away to others too. But we are going to spend the month of January investigating our financial year, expenses and whatnot. We want to take an in-depth look at where we are, and where we want to be. We don’t want to make casual resolutions on one night only to forget them by the end of the next week. We are going to read some books and blogs by other great financial folks for ideas and inspiration and share those here for you to use as well… We figure together we can all learn from one another, right?
One book that I am excited to start reading is by David Bach: Start Late, Finish Rich . I have read and enjoyed some of his other books, so I am looking forward to this one and taking some of his ideas to help me save towards my goals for 2012…. And beyond….
So for today on this last Friday of 2011 we want you to reflect on what a wonderful year 2011 was and begin to think about and plan for an even better 2012.
Are you ready for 2012?? Here it comes!!
Here is the book I am about to start:
Here is another book that looks just as good…. I am on the waiting list at our local library…. I love the FINISH RICH part…..
